Mint Condition se formaron a finales de los años 80, dando a luz sus primeras publicaciones ya en la década de los 90. Con un estilo musical muy diverso consecuencia de la absorción por parte de sus componentes, tanto de influencias jazz de artistas como Oscar Peterson y Herbie Hancock, como otras más soul/funk de grupos y artistas como Brothers Johnson y Bar-Kays, llegando incluso a aspirar influencias de ritmos y sonidos latinos o jamaicanos. Y es que ellos han sido una esponja que han sabido moldear y recrear su propio sello sonoro, fusionando el R&B y soul con el jazz y rock, haciéndoles una banda distinguida y admirada que les ha servido para perdurar vivos durante varias décadas.
De esta última década -y tambien último trabajo discográfico- es "Nothing Left to Say", un tema urbano surgido de la versatilidad de esta banda que suena fantásticamente bien y con el que retomamos el sendero de este 2011 esperanzados en su retorno ya cercano para celebrar su veinteavo aniversario.
