Ray Charles: Hallelujah I Love Her So

La magia brotaba por su áspera y profunda voz cargada de emotividad. Su pasión interpretando las canciones, su entusiasmo a través de las notas de su piano..., Ray Charles era un genio, y como tal, tenía una visión de la música que lo hacían atravesar el límite de lo dimensional. Para él flirtear con géneros como el soul, el R&B, el gospel, el country, el blues, el jazz... y porqué no decirlo, hasta el rock & roll, eran parte de su existencia dominándolos a la perfección. Maestro de maestros, fueron muchas las décadas ejerciendo ese roll, dando ejemplo y sembrando este lenguaje mágico y universal que es la música.

Este 23 de septiembre hubiera cumplido 80 años, y no se me ocurre otra forma mejor de recordarlo, que esparciendo su legado por medio de una de sus increibles canciones. "Hallelujah I Love Her So" es uno de los muchos temas en los que siente y transmite la emoción de principio a fin, interpreta con el corazón y eso se percibe. Ray Charles es un mito, una leyenda que jamás desaparecerá de la faz de la tierra, siempre habrá alguien que nos evocará su recuerdo a través del tarareo de una melodía, en la interpretación ilusionada de un cantante primerizo de soul en cualquier garito..., quizás como post de un blog como lo hago yo ahora..., o simplemente habrá que escuchar una canción y sentir que Ray convive con nosotros en forma de música.
