Luther Vandross: So Amazing

Compositor, productor y uno de los mejores vocalistas que ha dado la música. Desapareció prematuramente en el año 2005, pero sigo conservando en mi cabeza su elegante voz sedosa como el terciopelo y a la vez potente de tenor. Luther Vandross era, sin lugar a duda, un baladista excepcional, capaz de traspasar la barrera de los sentimientos y llegar directo a lo más profundo del alma. Muchos le ponen en su debe el no haber sabido elegir canciones donde se podría haber apreciado más su gran potencial vocal, pero escuchando "So Amazing", cierro los ojos y sólo deseo seguir sintiéndome más y más cautivado por su extraordinaria voz y la dulzura de melodías que mantendrán vivo su recuerdo, un legado que perdurará al paso del tiempo, pues como otros grandes de la música negra, su existencia ya forma parte del ADN de la música.
