Influenciada por clásicos como Curtis Mayfield, Bob Marley, Ella Fitzgerald o Anita Baker, Tasha's World es el nombre artístico de Natascha Slagtand, sólida cantante con una bella y profunda voz para el soul, con influencias jazz y hip-hop, nacida en Suriman (antigua Guayana Holandesa), aunque residiendo en Holanda. Su música nos sumerge en un nuevo soul evolucionado de muchos quilates, como nos lo demostró en sus dos trabajos con los que se dió a conocer. Sonidos orgánicos, toques jazz..., toda una caricia para nuestros sentidos y quizás una rareza europea para el soul.
